Since late last October, after an amazing trip that was totally worth being thankful for, I started saying thank you every day. Meaning I wrote, rather texted, what I was thankful for every day and fired it off to my stepmom. It feels like we’re neck deep in pumpkin, apples and leaves (yay!). I’m feeling pretty reflective these days. We had a lovely summer full of camping, visits with friends and Edmonton firsts (Folkfest, Instameets and visits to Drumheller,butler-service). We had a constant influx of friends visiting including two of my besties who naturally joined me for some temporary, sparkly tattoos.
I’m looking forward to a few fall firsts: my first 5km, my first Halloween in our new city and learning to use In Design on my own after a fab two day class here.
Crafternoons are on the horizon – maybe some macramé or screen printing. Time to focus on my health, too. Enough with this baby chub I say! Snowboard season is coming and we’re not far from some world class powder.
