Things are a little busy in Anchors & Proteas land – see post above. So instead of regaling you with the virtues of Cape Town, South Africa (one of my favourite cities), I’ll do a little story recycling. Once our internet is set up, my living room doesn’t look like a grenade went off and we have spent ample time in our new backyard admiring the tiny beet/pea/potatoe/onion shoots, I’ll write something original.

But for today I’m reusing. Last week two of my travel stories were published online. One detailed Aboriginal tourism stops in British Columbia – think searching for Spirit Bears near Klemtu or staying in a boutique hotel where each room is designed by a different Aboriginal artist in Vancouver. If you ever wanted a reason to learn about indigenous culture then why not make National Aboriginal Day the day you book a B.C. holiday at one of these 10 First Nation destinations.

I also had the absolute privilege of interviewing YEG all-round dynamo, Poppy Barley co-founder and Lululemon run ambassador Kendall Barber for Lululemon’s blog. She’s a long time Jasper lover, so she shared her picks for my new fave weekend getaway. She was so open and honest about her equal loves of food, mountain air and working up a sweat – a person I can relate to on all three levels. Yay! Thanks Kendall. Read the full travel story HERE.

Happy Travel Tuesday peeps.
